Once again, Xiaomi did not disappoint me. I come from a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, so the difference is huge. I was a bit hesitant at first since there were no reviews here for me to have any positives and negatives before buying it. Nevertheless, I bought it and so far I have not regretted it. I received the phone on 27/3, so I cannot have a full opinion. However, I will mention some things that I liked.
1) Speakers & Dolby Atmos:
The Dolby feature is a very nice detail. It gives you the ability to activate it and choose the level while you are in the video, game, or movie. The phone has two speakers that play simultaneously. One next to the charging port and one next to the audio jack. The sound is very powerful.
2) 67W charging:
It charges quite fast and I did not expect it. I had in mind that it would charge like all other phones with 67W. I do not know what Xiaomi has done here, but it works wonders on this issue.
3) Battery:
Quite satisfactory. I worked on the phone for about 4 hours installing applications and software updates. The battery dropped significantly but not excessively. Let's assume that it dropped from 66% to 45%. So I am fully satisfied with this part.
4) Camera:
I do not have a big opinion on this issue because I do not deal with it much. Nevertheless, it is satisfactory for an average user.
5) Processor:
It is the reason why I bought the phone. Like the Redmi Note 8 Pro, this one also has a MediaTek processor. At first, I was afraid since I heard many other things, but since I bought the 8 Pro, I started to trust them. As for the MediaTek that this phone has, I cannot have an opinion since I have not used it enough. So I keep a reserve.
6) Construction:
Very sturdy. It is not one of the lightest phones, but it sits quite well in the hand. The cameras protrude significantly, but the problem is solved with the case that Xiaomi provides.
7) Call:
My interlocutor heard me very clearly without any interruption or parasites, as I heard him. The speaker is quite loud, resulting in the interlocutor being heard very well by those around you.
For now, that's all I have to say. I will come back as soon as I have news. For starters, the phone covers me 100% for the use I make of it. However, it will show over time.
The mobile phone was very good when I bought it, fast. After two weeks, it stopped getting signal inside the house, neither 4G nor 5G, and it rarely gets signal outside the house. I have tried everything, changed the sim, did the latest update, and nothing. If we overlook this major problem, it is very good as a mobile phone
I am very satisfied with the Redmi Note series from Xiaomi. It has been my choice of mobile phone for the last 4 years. I consider it the most value-for-money option.
The worst. It constantly loses its signal and then freezes and can't find it again. You have to restart it and sometimes it doesn't work. The most wasted money I have ever spent.
It constantly loses internet connection. It doesn't listen to me when I speak. The battery drains very quickly. Poor quality videos and photos. It overheats, even during charging. I have had it for only three months. The worst purchase I have ever made.
From October until now, it has had three issues. The GPS doesn't find me when I use maps, the photos it takes are blurry and of poor quality, nothing like the ones I saw it taking, and now it doesn't read my sim card. It keeps reconnecting to sim 2 and loses internet connection, and on the other hand, when it disconnects from sim 2. I don't know what's going on...
It loses network. They don't hear me at all. I can't make calls. I don't have internet data. It shows missed calls later in a message
Real value for money and excellent quality compared to the highly advertised and unreasonably expensive competition.
At first, it was perfect, I thought I had hit the jackpot, very nice photos, very fast in everything I opened, very good quality of the camera, incredibly fast charging, very good screen resolution, very bright. The MIUI was a bit unacceptable, but I was willing to overlook it as long as the phone was performing well.
Now, after a year and something and after the "upgrade" to hyper os that I was eagerly waiting for, I was disappointed to the point that I changed my phone. The apps started to freeze, especially the camera and maps, they have crazy lags and overall it has lost its smoothness. It was my first XIAOMI, I was a fan of Samsung's mid-range for many years, but after 2 years, they also start to decline. I went for the first time to a flagship (s24) because with mid-range phones from any company, you don't see progress, unless you don't mind changing your phone every 2 years.
It is not worth the money in any case. The processor is incredibly slow, especially in the camera, and without much use of graphics... Never again Mediatek!
Good screen resolution.
Fast.
The speaker is not very loud.
Many times it has poor signal. Restart and then something happens.
Battery lasts a day with moderate use. Lightweight.
Beautiful delicate design.
Nice photos.
Something I didn't know and "bothered" me is that it doesn't take a memory card.
After months of use, the sim cards suddenly deactivate, and the data shuts off. It requires countless restarts for it to function. Additionally, it definitely needs to be charged twice a day, without using Facebook or games.
When it decides to work, it's a great phone. Otherwise, it's unacceptable for the price of 350 that I paid.
To me guys, after 4 months, it started leaking water twice while charging. I would plug in the cable, it would start charging and then disconnect on its own, even though the cable was properly connected to the device. Because I had it on the fast charger, I managed to charge it after leaving it all night. I tried another charger and it did the same thing. The next day, everything was fine. It charged normally. Other than that, I haven't seen anything else particularly negative. It is fast and takes good photos, everything else is okay so far
Quite a good mobile for its price, it is fast, its battery lasts if you don't play for hours. The photos and videos have clear and good resolution, and its speakers are quite good!
I cannot say, it is worth as a mobile phone, just better to get the 8gb/256gb because the memory does not get stuck and does not fill up easily
6 months purchased and in use unfortunately it developed a problem with the signal. I had two SIM cards inside and constantly one of them would lose signal and the whole phone would lag. Even after fixing the SIM, the same problem continued and now it's happening with the second SIM card as well. With mobile data on, suddenly it loses signal and disconnects. It's a shame, it's not worth the 230€.
Reliable! Great value for money!
For average use in all options, it's worth the money and more!
Average photo quality and especially video, but smooth operation both in browsing and in applications - games!
I bought the first device for a family member and after 3 months it had a problem with the signal and the internet. We thought it was a coincidence. We bought a second device five months later for my personal use and within a period of 4 months the same thing happened with the signal. I don't know if it's worth your time and money to buy something for 280€ that initially seems to be the perfect value for money and later causes such damage. Now, after searching online, I see that the problem with this particular model is common. If you need the device for professional use, then it's better to consider buying something better.
As for the rest, like the screen, sound, image, speed, camera, etc., everything is average. Like I said initially, it seems like value for money but later you realize it's just another commercial garbage.
Excellent mobile phone, takes perfect photos and videos, fast, battery lasts a long time, charges quickly because it has a fast charger inside, overall it is flawless.
Those who say it doesn't catch signal and has problems probably confuse the phones or haven't actually bought it, because I see that they are not verified purchases.
Stay away! Some mobile phones have a problem with the signal and you only get 2G everywhere. For three months now I only get 2G everywhere, possibly due to some update from Xiaomi on this particular mobile phone as I read that many have the same problem. The battery is very bad from the first days, as if the phone was 3 years old. At least it charges quickly
It is the second device I received as defective. It constantly disconnects from the phone network as well as from WiFi. If it is unplugged, it discharges in 2 hours. Stay away
I bought it in September, it has been in service for 3 months. I have sent it twice, but it doesn't do anything. It shows that it has signal, but it doesn't receive calls or connect to the internet. Very disappointing
I have had the phone for ten months and I am amazed by the comments of several users that it loses signal and has no signal. I have used the phone extensively and its battery easily lasts one and a half days. The fact that it has no signal is again irrelevant, I hear everyone perfectly fine! I wonder what phone they got because apparently it is not what is described here!
It is a very fast mobile phone and its battery definitely lasts all day with frequent use, even with continuous video playback. The camera is good, but not anything amazing. I had the redmi note 8 (top value for money mobile phone even now I would say, although older) before and I would say that the camera of the current one is slightly better. After a few months, it had some minor glitches on Instagram and needed a reboot, but it is very likely that the application was to blame at that moment. Overall, I would recommend it as a value for money device!
I got it in August, awesome phone, worth its money, now it's free, I've had it for 7 months with a lot of use and it has never stuck.. extremely fast, charges in 45 minutes and with a lot of use it lasts a day and a half, what else do you want, otherwise 2 days. Amazing performance in photos and videos, also perfect colors on the screen with a Samsung equivalent in its category which is more expensive. The Redmi Note 12 Pro is much better, this one is the best in its category
I have it for a month and I am completely satisfied. The camera is very powerful as it has OIS. The battery is quite good, nothing special. The speed is also very good in everything you do. The charging is very good, I would say very fast. The speakers are very good, not very loud but very high quality. Overall, it is a device that will not disappoint any regular user. It is exactly what you need in this price category, maybe even the best out there
I have had this particular mobile phone for about 4 months.
From the first day, the battery has disappointed me. It needs two charges a day, and not with any crazy usage. And imagine, I deliberately chose low quality on the screen (60hz instead of 120hz) and 4G instead of 5G, which drains even more.
Don't make the mistake of getting it like so many people did...
In general, it is a good mobile phone. I have had it for about 4 months, and the battery drains incredibly fast. It is really annoying, personally I regret getting it for this reason.
I have had the phone for 20 days and from the second day I started using it, it loses its signal. When someone calls me, I can't hear them and many times they can't hear me either. It is the most useless phone I have ever had, I do not recommend it at all, it's a waste of money
I had the Xiaomi Redmi 9, which was excellent.
I bought this one and it is terrible. Calls are nerve-wracking, constantly dropping and noisy. The battery is also terrible, constantly needing to be charged. Yes, it has a fast charger, but what's the point if you have to charge it 3 times a day? Awful mobile phone.
