Description

- "Owl, I want to ask you a question."
- "What question do you want to ask me?"
- "I want to know why I am so slow."
The owl opened her huge eyes, examined the snail, and then closed them again.
- "You are a young snail, and everything you have seen, everything you have tried, the bitter and the sweet, the rain and the sun, the cold and the night, all of these stay with you, weigh you down, and because you are so small, you become slow from the weight."
- "And what do I gain from being so slow?" whispered the snail.
- "Ah, I don't have an answer to that. You have to find it yourself," said the owl and, with her silence, showed him that she would not accept any more questions."

The snail, whose original name is "Antartis," is a restless and persistent character who bothers his group with his questions, and for this reason, he is expelled from the meadow. Antartis accepts his fate and leaves for exile, but his journey is not lonely: on his slow path, he gains new friends and realizes that a great danger threatens the snail species. He decides to return to the meadow to sound the alarm, but who knows if his former companions will be willing to listen to him...
