Very good until something breaks.
First of all, don't fall into the trap that I fell into, it's not mechanical, it's membrane and pretends to be mechanical.
You can't buy new keys because they are proprietary to Razer and they don't sell them separately. (there are third-party keys, but it's not worth the trouble to find them)
Some keys broke when I was cleaning it, and I decided to get another keyboard because I couldn't find new keys.
Exceptionally ergonomic and stern.
For a mechanical keyboard it is quite silent so if you dislike the loud "clickity clackity" then this is certainly the best option.
A high quality peripheral that will last for a very long time even in the hands of the clumsiest gamers.
Very good keyboard. I was incredibly pleased with the Low profile. The keys make a Clicky noise, ok. It's not annoying. Nice feel of the keys with a relatively short travel. I recommend it. The only thing that bothers me (I hadn't noticed) is that the lighting that diffuses under the keys dazzles me. Of course, I sit quite reclined, if you sit properly it's fine. I have set it to 10% and it's oooook.... Very good purchase though, VFM.
Although the user Fairplay's review says it all!... I would like to add that in my case, the C and V keys (especially the V) get stuck (due to frequent copy/paste usage) and often remain pressed almost halfway through their travel distance.
In Linux, the program's capabilities do not come close to those of the equivalent in Windows.
I expected it to be quieter.
The worst part is the backlighting, as Fairplay also mentions. It is not separate for each key and the light diffuses, making it annoying. You have to lower the brightness, but then the letters are unreadable!
After a few months, I switched back to Motospeed, which, among other things, cost half the price
I didn't need a keyboard, I bought it because it was on sale for 65€ and because of the RGB to synchronize with the case where I have been absolutely satisfied by the beautiful colors that the keyboard changes, the buttons close to the height that let more light pass through and the razer software that works flawlessly. The keys are not noisy (except for the space bar) and have a nice soft feel when pressed. The feeling when you touch your hands on it along with the lower extension is very good because it has a very nice coating material, although I do not know if it will withstand over time and I mention this because I had an old razer deathadder mouse with the same material which over time had started to wear out, causing the fingers to stick on it like glue, also it gets dirty and leaves marks immediately from the sweat of the hands. For now, I will give it 5/5 and I will come back with an edit in case the material wears out over time, I hope that after so many years they have improved the build quality because I was not very satisfied with the deathadder.
Positives:
Nice keys and key press for someone who likes the click but doesn't want full keys. The keys are low profile. It is not mechanical like others, but it has membranes underneath. It is a stylish keyboard with fairly good quality.
Negatives:
1. For me, it would be interesting if the letters on the keys were more illuminated and not the surrounding area of the keyboard because now the letters are not illuminated so much because the RGB LEDs underneath blind you and you can't see the keys well. The result is to lower or turn off the RGB lighting.
2. The arm rest is good but it is magnetic with a very weak magnet and does not "attach" in any way to the keyboard. When you move the keyboard left and right, the arm rest moves from its position.
3. I would prefer to have a volume knob wheel rather than volume keys.
4. To activate the colors on the keyboard, you need to install the drivers and software which is quite "heavy" for a keyboard application. In my opinion, it is complicated.
5. Lighting zones: Each key is not illuminated individually. About 8 lighting zones are illuminated vertically. This means that you cannot customize lighting on specific keys.
6. The LEDs for caps lock, num lock, etc. are in a row next to each other without easily showing what is what when they light up. In other words, when you press caps lock, instead of lighting up next to the key something that you can easily understand, it lights up next to all the other LEDs.
Overall conclusion:
It is a generally decent and quality keyboard, something in between for gaming and work, which with its colors gives it a playful style without any substantial reason to make the lighting useful.
Razer is one of the few brands that offer Greek. This is a plus for the company, but generally it is unfortunate that there is not a wide variety of Greek keyboards in other brands.
This review is about the keyboard language: English US
I wanted a keyboard with soft and above all quiet keys (they bother my wife). It is a beautiful keyboard with nice lighting and a nice feeling when typing. The keys are really quiet. The only thing you hear is a discreet "click". The price is razer, no further comments needed.
It is very beautiful, I personally really like the feel. With the app, you have access to many predefined color schemes and wallpapers that automatically coordinate with the keyboard theme without needing any extra settings. (Obviously, if you want, you can customize the entire keyboard as you wish, but the automatic feature is a nice feature.) Especially for gaming, it is excellent as you can customize macros on buttons without having to press them all together. I give it 4 stars because sometimes during PC startup, the colors do not turn on, and it forces me to unplug the keyboard and plug it back in (the keys work in this case, just the lights do not turn on). I have had it for 3 months and it has happened 3 times. I do not consider it a reason for someone not to buy it, but it is definitely annoying.
The keyboard is not for gaming. If you hold down A-W to walk, the E does not work, and if you have shift-w to run, the Q does not work. As well as other key combinations that I found on forums from others that do not work. Disappointing for a gaming keyboard. Otherwise, it is very good, convenient, and quiet, but not suitable for gaming.
EDIT
I just received a new keyboard as a replacement, after sending back the previous one, and the problem was indeed confirmed. The new one they sent me works properly and does not seem to have the same or any other issue. It is very good for its price!
In relation to the V2, which was a classic model and keyboard, I think it is a clear improvement. It is a bit more low profile. Its keys are a bit noisier. The space bar is better, more stable. The wrist rest initially seemed uncomfortable to me and the keyboard initially seemed cheap. (I was going for 3 stars, I don't know why, I was initially disappointed). But I have been using it for 2-3 weeks now and it is simply AMAZING. It has helped me more than anything and I type MUCH faster than before. 100% recommended. Great product.
