Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
I come from another model of Nitecore that is inferior in features but very nice, which I would also recommend for its price (NU35). However, the HC65 UHE is one of the best headlamps I found on the market. Perhaps the best for its price. The two additional auxiliary lights (Red, High CRi Light) are an excellent addition that makes the flashlight a very good all-around tool for many activities. I don't need to say anything about the brightness and the modes. Its main beam of light is closer to neutral white light, which makes it more comfortable. Its battery has a very long duration, and most importantly, it is removable (Nitecore NL1840HP - included). It also has a USB Type-C charging port and can charge even while in operation. Therefore, practically either via USB or by swapping batteries, you never run out of flashlight. The body is entirely made of aluminum. The only negative I find is the weight (and the price). You feel that you are wearing it, but you get used to it quite easily. The strap has extra thickness compared to lighter models. On the other hand, I imagine all high-lumen flashlights with 18650 batteries have a similar weight. A good quality carrying case is included.
Although I haven't had it for many days to be very objective, it seems to be of good quality and sturdy, it distributes light very well and its battery has satisfactory duration. As for the negatives, there were two things I didn't like about the charging: one is the rubber cap of the USB port, which opens very easily (at least on mine, I don't know if it's the same for others), and the charging cable, which has both input and output of USB-C type. It has its pros and cons for me, as all the wall chargers I have are of a different type.
