Combining an extremely lightweight yet supportive sole, the rocker geometry of the midsole, and SurfaceCTRL grip, Vectiv technology is designed to maximize energy on the trail. And for the Exploris, this translates to hiking shoes designed to cover the distance. But while this version is filled with the same great details as the original, there have been some changes. The platform under the foot is wider to provide greater stability. The stack height is 2 mm higher for improved comfort and support. And the midsole offers a split heel and TPU plate for increased lateral shift and stability.

Designed with input from The North Face athletes, the Futurelight membrane remains waterproof and breathable as always. The heels and toes are reinforced for protection on rocky trails, and the 4-millimeter lugs hold steady on uneven terrain.
