It has a dark color that stays on no matter how much you rub it and leaves a shine that is not flattering at all - it looks like a dirty face. I am brunette and still somewhat manageable, but on fair skin it would be tragic... also does not cover imperfections particularly well. The two stars are for the low price and the composition, although I believe it is very difficult to use daily to see the benefits of the vitamin C derivative it contains.. anyway fortunately it spreads relatively easily, I will keep it for the beach
