Amazfit GTR 2 with 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen and special coating for greater durability. Waterproof and ideal for sports with 12 sports modes, innovative PAI Health Assessment System and oximeter function.
The Amazfit GTR 2 features a 1.39-inch (326ppi pixel) curved 3D AMOLED display, always-on with a special coating, which guarantees greater durability.
The body of the smartwatch is made of stainless steel with a 3D glass curved design with no fringes, while the right side has two buttons for handling and a black leather strap. The GTR 2's screen can rotate 180° and is suitable for both left-handed or right-handed users. It can also be locked with a password to prevent access.
The device supports heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation monitoring, stress and sleep monitoring. GTR 2 integrates a health assessment system (PAI) and supports 12 different sports modes. At the end of the exercise, the watch will generate a corresponding detailed report in the mobile app.
The smartwatch is equipped with a microphone and speaker to answer calls on your watch via Bluetooth. It has 3GB of storage space, enough to store 300–600 songs. It has a 471 mAh battery, providing up to 14 days of autonomy. Finally, it is waterproof to a depth of 50 meters.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Update 16/5:
Free purchase. It hasn't even been a year and the software (?) has been stuck for months, I can't open the watch as it's frozen on the logo. It's a shame because I was very satisfied at the beginning. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a solution to my problem, a waste of 100++ euros.
The best thing I have ever bought!
Positive:
Very durable, I have accidentally hit it several times and it doesn't have a scratch.
I forget when it needs to be charged and you can choose which apps to receive notifications from.
Great design.
It's worth every last euro.
Negative:
It's completely subjective as the strap is either too wide or too narrow for my wrist. I will soon order a new one for a better fit
Unfortunately, after 2 months it went into a bootloop (couldn't turn on) and I returned it.
Apart from that, it had very good features, easy connectivity with the phone, and a fairly clear screen with relatively good battery life.
The screen froze after 9 months!! It wasn't dropped or exposed to water!! Disappointed because I was satisfied...
+ appearance, autonomy, functions.
- GPS accuracy
It is a very beautiful watch with a very long autonomy.
However, its GPS is a disaster. The two times I recorded, on the map it seemed like I was doing parkour in the apartment buildings in Pagkrati. I have put it aside and I am using an old Huawei which is very accurate in its measurements.
I only have four days left, so I will definitely come back. What I have noticed so far is that it is a very beautiful watch with accurate measurements. I would like it to be activated not only by the buttons but also by the screen, but that's a minor issue. The classic edition that I got has a leather strap that offers beauty and quality. The connection and communication with Zepp are excellent, just like the sound during phone calls. If it had NFC, it would be the perfect purchase. At the price of 96 euros that I got it, I think there is nothing better.
After two months of having it, I can say that I am still satisfied. The negative thing is that on the bike, especially when the wrist sweats, it stops showing the heart rate correctly, so I stop and wipe my hand.
Also, even in beta version, it shows possible apneas (I don't know how accurate it is).
It has a very poor sleep status graph where sleep quality, REM state, and deep sleep are displayed, as well as a pulse diagram.
So far satisfied. I would like the menu to be easier to manage, but that's about it. I find it beautiful, it has good build quality, the strap has the appearance of leather, but looks more expensive. You can find infinite watch faces. As for measurements, I'm only interested in steps and I think it counts them accurately. The automatic exercise tracking doesn't work, it never managed to understand when I was exercising or just walking. Also, I think the calorie count is based on some fixed values depending on the type of exercise. Even if you're sitting, if you tell the watch that you're exercising, it will count calories. It's a good purchase for a daily watch, but nothing else.
After almost a year of use, I am still very happy, it looks very elegant in the hands and continues to fulfill its function
I chose it because I had a Xiaomi phone and I imagine it will have all its functions in collaboration with the phone. The second reason was because visually it resembles a classic watch, which I generally prefer in terms of style compared to others that appear more electronic.
For some reason that I can't understand, it disconnects from the mobile, also the range on bt is very small
It lasted me 4 months, it turned off and never turned on again, luckily I got my money back. I bought a much better gt2 in all aspects
It has everything it advertises, but its Alexa is not supported in Greece and also when I try to answer calls through the watch, the connection completely breaks down and I have to turn off Bluetooth on both my phone and the watch for the phone to start working again at least (Xiaomi)
Unfortunately, I did not read the negative reviews here and I bought it because I liked it a lot (the black with silver is beautiful). It lacks accuracy in the steps and after 2 months, the touch screen stopped working. Luckily, it was an official import from Infoquest and I got a refund. Spend 50 euros more and get the GT2 Pro. I will not buy a Chinese watch again.
It's worth its money. Great battery autonomy compared to the rest. I recommend it for a reliable, high-quality, and particularly economical smartwatch solution.
For the 120 euros it cost, I consider it does a decent job. The measurements are good, the battery lasts about 4 days with plenty of use, I have dropped it several times but it doesn't have a scratch. In the half the time I've had it, I would say it's worth its money.
The watch is beautiful on the wrist. Unfortunately, we encountered the case where in 2 weeks from its purchase it suddenly closed and did not open again. They replaced it with a new one. Unfortunately, after about 1 month it closed again and did not open again.
For every 1000 meters of running on a track, the watch adds approximately 150 to 200. This means a deviation of about 15 to 20 percent. If you are an athlete, even an amateur one, stay away. Otherwise, it is an honest device that delivers what it promises.
Owner of almost a month and I can say that it is exactly what I needed. A watch for all hours with many watchfaces. The measurements during training are satisfactory. The GPS synchronizes instantly. I don't miss calls and messages. Definitely worth its money!!!
Problematic with iPhone. I am not receiving calls anymore at all. It constantly disconnects. I wish I had given a little more for an older Apple Watch that definitely works together.
Very good for its price!!!
I will return after a few months because the speaker, besides incoming calls (which sound perfect), does not work in any other case, neither in the Media Player, nor in the alarm clock, nor in the notifications, basically nowhere else.
They received it to see what they will do since it is still under warranty, I will inform you about further updates
It is very good, but I would like to be able to reply to messages from the watch, even if I could just like them, but I am very satisfied
In the beginning, I had a very nice user experience. After 3 months, the battery started draining much faster and now, at 4 months, it only charges up to 18% and no more
The watch is amazing, I have been using it for a month now and it does exactly what I need. (Mountain biking workouts, swimming, running, 24-hour heart rate monitoring, phone calls) It is worth the money, it can easily compete with Garmin and other more serious companies. Its construction is a bit simple, but with a glass and a silicone case, it is great. It delivers on all its promises and has no issues with GPS, as I saw in videos, etc. The only negative is its battery, as with full functionality (music, calls, heart rate, and connected phone), it lasts a maximum of 3 days, which could be better. However, it is not a serious problem for me as it charges quickly (up to 1.5 hours). The best part is that it syncs with Strava, which many athletes will find fantastic because many watches in its category are not compatible.
Great disappointment. The watch, if not immediately connected to Bluetooth as the mobile's speaker, does not receive notifications for calls. The main reason to get a smart watch is to receive notifications for calls without having to speak into the watch like James Bond, but with Bluetooth. I had the Stratos, from the same company, for about a year. Except for the battery, which is ultimately similar to this one (the other one is always on without consuming), I was much more satisfied. I chose this instead of the Huawei GT2. I made a mistake.
At least if they can, let them enable call notifications. Messages, Viber, etc. are coming.
Like a watch on the hand, it is very elegant and beautiful. But after five days of operation, it closed and got stuck on the logo. I read somewhere that you should leave it and let the battery drain so that it can boot, but that didn't work either. I read other similar cases on internet pages and now I'm tangled up with warranties and representatives. If I knew everything, I would give something extra to get something more reliable. Also, for an average person with the same amount of money, you can get the Huawei gt2 which has a slightly better menu.
Very beautiful, many facades, accurate measurements. After 2 weeks of use, in order to keep the battery lasting for more than 5 days, you must not constantly have the screen active. The menu is in Greek from the company. A plus is that you can turn off Bluetooth and lock the screen.
