The Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4 RAM is aimed at demanding computer users, such as gamers, professionals in video and image editing, designers, and those who require high performance from their computer.
DDR4 is the fourth generation of RAM technology for computers. It replaces DDR3 and offers increased speeds and greater capacity than its predecessor. Specifically, DDR4 offers operating speeds from 2133 MHz to 4800 MHz, while its capacity has increased up to 16 GB per memory module. The Ripjaws V provides a speed of 2133 MT/s and 8 GB per memory module.
DDR4 technology is compatible with specific motherboards and processors. Indicatively, DDR4 is compatible with Intel Skylake, Kaby Lake, Coffee Lake series processors and the latest Intel processors, as well as AMD Ryzen and Threadripper series processors.
However, for compatibility with your motherboard, you need to ensure that your motherboard supports DDR4 technology from the manufacturer. Compatibility depends on the processor platform and the type of motherboard you are using.
XMP & EXPO is a technology that allows us to increase the frequency and performance of our computer's memory without the need for manual adjustments. (XMP/EXPO) is easily activated from the BIOS, is available on certain RAM modules, and is supported by certain motherboards.

Excellent memories! I use them in an AMD system that I recently set up and they work great. The reason I didn't buy faster ones was because I paired them with two other 8GB sticks of the same speed from Kingston (Hyper-x model) that I had left, and they all work together perfectly!
After 2.5 years and after a second upgrade to a Ryzen system, they have proven to be extremely stable and very good for overclocking. I now run them at 2933MHz with timings of 16-18-18-38 at 1.35V on an Asrock B450M Pro4.
Very nice RAM, both in terms of appearance and performance! I had a compatibility issue with other RAM (Corsair) and that's why I bought these.. ;)
Well good RAM, but be careful with Ryzen systems, if you're lucky they will work fine, but they are generally for Intel. I'm telling you again, be careful if you get it for Ryzen.
