Description

Return to Arkham and experience two of the most important titles of the last generation - Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.

Arkham Asylum

• Face Gotham's most famous madmen, such as Joker, Harley Quinn, and Killer Croc

• Utilize Batman's detective skills and the latest technology in the field of criminology to gather clues and evidence

• Unleash deadly combo attacks with the groundbreaking FreeFlow combat system

Trap the Bat

Having already broken the international Guinness record (most successful superhero video game of all time), Batman Arkham Asylum is a brilliantly executed, skillfully presented journey into the mind of DC Comics' most famous character and within the walls and halls of Gotham City's most notorious building: Arkham Asylum. The story is penned by acclaimed comic and television scriptwriter Paul Dini, and the game begins with the Dark Knight delivering his greatest nemesis, the Joker, into the hands of Arkham's warden, only to realize, when it's too late, that the Clown Prince of Crime is putting his grand plan into action: taking control of Arkham, releasing the asylum's inmates, and eliminating Batman.

Become the Villain

By activating "detective vision," Batman can also spot his enemies from afar, highlighting each time the danger that threatens him. If they are armed, you must first take them out of combat stealthily, using Batman's ability to swing from beams, glide, and hang from gargoyles before swooping down and grabbing an unsuspecting enemy from their patrol.

Once you have survived the walls of Arkham, rich additional content awaits you in the form of Challenge Rooms. There, various objectives await you, such as defeating myriad enemies using your combat skills or your silent and stealthy takedowns. The Joker is added as an exclusive downloadable character for the challenge rooms. So, there is plenty of Batmania to keep comic fans and newcomers alike absorbed. For many, this will be a dark night.

Batman: Arkham City

  • Explore within the fortified walls of a large district in the heart of Gotham City.
  • Discover a new story that brings together a brand-new team of classic characters and murderous villains from the world of Batman.
  • Learn about the many new and improved gameplay features for the ultimate Dark Knight experience.

Dark Days in Gotham City

We are one year after the explosive events at Arkham Asylum that shook Gotham City. The correctional facilities Arkham Asylum and Blackgate Prison have closed. Quincy Sharp, former director of the asylum, takes credit that Batman would have earned for defeating the Joker and runs for Mayor.

After being elected, Sharp constructs a walled-off district in an area of the city's slums and names it Arkham City. It is a prison where inmates move freely under the watchful eyes of armed security forces and an enigmatic character: Dr. Hugo Strange. In Arkham City, the most ruthless criminals reign, while the weak hide in their desperate daily struggle to survive.

When Two-Face and his thugs imprison Catwoman, Batman has no choice but to infiltrate Arkham City to save the petite thief from the clutches of Gotham's former white knight. Wear Batman's fully equipped belt, grab the wireless controller, and get ready for one of the most thrilling adventures of 2011 for PlayStation 3.

Cat vs Bat

In Batman: Arkham City, alongside the main campaign mode, there are various missions that you can play as Catwoman, which you activate with the special coupon code included in the game's packaging. Since Catwoman is a character diametrically opposed to Batman, it will take you some time to get used to her whip, speed, and vicious scratches.

In the numerous side missions you are called to complete, you will find yourself rescuing politicians who have fallen into the hands of mobsters, facing the hundreds of challenges from the Riddler, and answering calls in phone booths where you will be asked to take on smaller but equally enjoyable missions, some of which will co-star the psychopath Victor Zsasz. Additionally, in these side missions, you will encounter familiar faces from the Batman universe, such as the dreadful Bane from Arkham Asylum and the ruthless assassin Deadshot.

It contains 2 Arkham games. Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. All Arkham games are masterpieces, especially Knight and City. Arkham Asylum is relatively old, resulting in a relatively short story and slow combat system. However, the story is very nice with a great atmosphere and worth it. Arkham City is a great improvement with a lot of interesting action and a grand epic story with many side missions. The only negative thing that all Arkham games have (except for Origins, which was developed by WB Montreal) is that they don't have impressive and challenging boss fights. Other than that, they are definitely worth their money.

Since I had played them on the ps3 but played them again on the ps4, I decided to write my opinion. Regarding the graphics, there is indeed a big difference. The asylum has more because it is older with new lighting and darker colors. The gameplay is incredible, the asylum has 5 hours of gameplay while the city has 7 hours. It includes all the extras that were released for the asylum, such as fighting maps where you can play as the Joker, and the city also has extra maps but now you can play as Batman, Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman. In freeroam, you can play as Batman and Catwoman. It also provides you with 7 suits for Batman, 3 for Catwoman, and 2 for Robin. Unfortunately, as I mentioned before, Robin and Nightwing cannot be played in freeroam. Finally, there is a DLC for the city, which takes place after the events of the story and lasts about 1 hour. I hope I helped you with my opinion. Good continuation

Personally, I rank it in third place compared to the other two. The story of the first one keeps you more engaged, in this one I got a little bored at some points. The third one is several steps above the previous ones. But regardless, it is a must-have.

The Batman Arkham games are masterpieces. There are no words for how amazing they are. The gameplay is exceptional, the boss fights are something you have to experience yourself, and Batman is the most badass hero there is. I have finished them over 10 times and never get bored.

The Arkham series in video games is more than just good. It showed other companies how it's done. Most games of this genre that came out afterwards are based on it.
    For me, it lacks nothing.
In terms of graphics, direction, gameplay, and even those small details that make the game even better, the developers have paid attention to everything.
