The J-Cruise 2 by Shoei is a jet helmet, which, thanks to its open design at the bottom of the face, can be put on and taken off with ease. It is considered one of the lightest types of helmets, however, it leaves a large area of the face uncovered, therefore it is less safe compared to a full-face helmet. It is made of composite fibre, that is, from synthetic fibers that make it flexible and resistant to shock absorption. It fastens with a microlock, which allows you to fasten it easily and quickly. The helmet has European safety certification "ECE 22.05", which ensures that the helmet is tested for drop, impact, and object penetration. It is pinlock ready, which means that there is the possibility of installing an additional accessory for the visor that helps to prevent fogging during the winter months. The anti-fog film is not included in the package. Additionally, it features a sun visor, which is an internal sunshade film, like glass, for protection from the sun.

Both are Japanese, and both are handmade products of top-notch safety (almost equivalent to full face). You try them out, and whichever fits better, you choose.
You get what you pay for!
Wear a helmet from either of these 2 companies, go out on the road (mainly highways), and then we can discuss whether it's worth wearing plastic on our heads in order to save 200-300€ over a decade.
Very good product!!! Obviously, no comparison with cheap helmets! That's why the saying goes that you get what you pay for.. Whoever can, should buy it and whoever can't should save money slowly and buy it again!!
