Nach 3 Jahren hat sie aufgehört zu funktionieren, was zum Verlust einer erheblichen Menge persönlicher und beruflicher Daten geführt hat.
Die Festplatte blieb auf dem Schreibtisch (nicht bewegt) und wenn sie nicht in Gebrauch war, wurde sie ausgesteckt. Ich habe versucht, sie an anderen Computern anzuschließen und verschiedene Stromversorgungen und USB-Kabel zu verwenden, aber es gab keine Reaktion.

Ab dem zweiten Tag (Windows 10 Umgebung) begann es einzufrieren, sobald ich versuchte, es über den Windows Explorer zu öffnen, und das Programm musste 2-3 Mal neu gestartet werden, bevor es funktionierte. Nach etwa einem Monat begann es sich von selbst alle 5-10 Minuten zu trennen und dann wieder zu verbinden. Wahrscheinlich Schrott.

I took the first one out of its box and put it in the NAS. I have the second one as an external backup for the NAS, with a smart plug that only turns on when it's time to take a backup and then turns off. So far, I have no complaints. The disk inside it is 5400rpm, which doesn't make it fast, but for backup and archiving at €125/piece, which I got on offer, it's great!

I just transferred all my files, 3.5tb, and I hadn't kept any backups for some serious ones. The disk failed, and it was the disk itself, not its circuits, because I opened it and put it in machines with special software. Unacceptable, and of course the warranty doesn't cover me because I opened it to put it in my own case in order to save my files.

I have it for a year, I use it for backing up my files. I connect it to a USB 2.0 port and its speed is around 15 mb, unfortunately I don't have USB 3.0 to give you impressions but even so, I am satisfied. Its noise is imperceptible and its quality is satisfactory. When transferring data for a long time, it heats up but within normal limits, the power and data cables are long enough. It works flawlessly, it doesn't freeze and at the current price of 98 euros compared to the 140 I bought it for, I have to say it's worth it without a second thought.

I have it exclusively for high-quality movies and bit transmission. Each movie is 10 to 15 gigabytes.

Excellent choice for backup use, personally I use it as a Time Machine for two Macintosh devices and so far I have no complaints. The USB 3.0 is very fast, the disk is almost silent, it doesn't reach worrying temperatures, and its undoubtedly positive aspect is its very elegant design, for those who care about the appearance of their workspace. In conclusion, and because there are many rumors about Seagate, I have trusted it in other cases as well, and just like those, so far so good.
