Product specifically suitable for soothing irritations, redness, and feelings of heat on the skin after a superficial dermatological procedure. It spreads easily, even on irritated skin. The micronized sucralfate, an original active ingredient, helps in the repair of the epidermis. The combination of copper sulfate and zinc sulfate reduces the risk of microorganism development. Rich in Avene thermal water, the restorative Cicalfate Emulsion for post-superficial dermatological procedures soothes sensitive skin.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Very good product.... It does what it promises... After laser in case of burns it is perfect!!!! It heals and regenerates the skin quite quickly without causing any itching or irritation in any area.... It doesn't bring any discomfort.... It's like bepanthol.....
I have been using the Avene Cicalfate Emulsion with the characteristic pastel blue color (photo with cut packaging) until now, after dermatological procedures on my face, and I was very satisfied. From what I was told, it has been replaced with this Avene Cicalfate+ Post Acte. I have very oily skin and this cream does not help me at all. I apply it and after an hour, I have to wash my face again. I have no doubts that it does what it's supposed to, but for me, it is too heavy.
The old cream was perfect. The best thing I have ever put on my face. It had no smell, didn't leave any greasiness, and absorbed immediately. Now they have changed it and it's the worst thing ever. It's very heavy and smells bad. Why? Why? Why?
I think it is one of the best in its category, and without being too expensive. For superficial skin irritations, it is perfect even with application once a day for a few days. For more demanding issues, such as scars after surgery, it requires a sufficient amount of application, at least in the morning and evening for one month, and clearly it cannot completely eliminate the marks, like any cream, but at least it reduces redness and smoothes the skin in that area.
I buy this specific product to use it after facial treatments such as laser fraxel, microneedling, peeling, etc. I wear it for 7 days, morning and night, on a clean face and I can say that it is one of the top regenerating creams available. After the 7 days, I continue for another 7 days with the Avene Cicalfate+ Repairing Protective Cream, which is less potent but also more affordable. It does not contain sunscreen, so I only let it absorb in the morning and then apply my sunscreen afterwards. I should add that it has a peculiar texture, a thin blue cream that absorbs very easily compared to other regenerating creams that leave a white cast on the face.
I love it! It really quickly soothes and repairs the skin. It is also perfectly tolerable for sensitive skin like mine
I used it for about 1-2 weeks after a dermatologist's dermabrasion session where my skin was immediately quite red and marked for about 1-2 weeks. It does exactly what it promises, repairing and soothing all irritations!
I have sensitive skin with old and new acne scars. I didn't see anything amazing happen while using it, even when combined with Avene's Triacneal Expert as recommended by my dermatologist. It's good, but okay.
I have seen results but the wound has not completely disappeared.... maybe it needs more time. I recommend it.
The best for the skin after laser treatments. Moreover, it is recommended by most plastic surgeons!
It is not my everyday cream.. I use it every time I do exfoliation or deep cleansing (clay, etc.) to prevent pimples and it really reduces them. I don't want it to be missing from my vanity case!!
I don't know, but personally, using it locally caused a problem for me. Pimples came out of nowhere and, to be honest, I gave it to other people to try and the same thing happened. I wouldn't recommend someone to buy it.
The emulsion is very good. Avene is very good in general. A real value for money company! It does not contain fragrance for obvious reasons.
Very good cream in what it promises. It absorbs immediately, the skin does not pull and leaves a good feeling on the skin. If you have oily skin, after a few hours you will shine. For cracked skin, acne (not teenage), irritated skin with redness, it does an incredible job. Don't expect miracles from the first day! Immediate relief, many promising results after a week. Always on clean skin! It says "after dermatological procedures" but believe me, it works for everything! I will definitely buy it again and it will be an ally in every hardship of my face. I highly recommend it.
I haven't been able to part with it for a year
