The MX-9 Adventure MIPS by Bell is a motocross helmet, which is only suitable for off-road driving, on dirt. It is made of composite fibre, that is, from synthetic fibers that make it flexible and resistant to shock absorption. It fastens with a double d ring, also known as a ring. It is the safest and most reliable fastening, but it requires both hands to tie. The helmet has European safety certification "ECE 22.05" and American DOT certification, which ensure that the helmet is tested for drop, impact, and object penetration. Additionally, it features a sun visor, which is an internal sunshade film, like glass, for protection from the sun.
