  Watch a video for proper floor adjustment. Everything else will go well. Find designs and add supports where needed and the prints will be perfect. With Creality PLA, I have been fully satisfied so far.

  I bought it as my first 3D printer. It took me about ~15 minutes to assemble. The instructions provided by the company are good for assembly but stop there. It would be good to watch some videos on aligning the printer. Although it has automatic alignment capability, the printing results improved after I adjusted it myself. The noise it makes is not annoying, you can work in the same space as the machine. The slicer used by Creality is a modified version of Cura. It is a very good machine for beginners and for those who want to play with the software (switch to Klipper)

  I have had it for about a month and it is my first 3D printer, so far I have been more challenged by designing models than by the printer itself. Also, the CR touch Auto-leveling saves me a lot of trouble, I only did manual leveling once when I assembled it and so far it doesn't seem like I need to do it again

  Many hidden costs, doesn't work out of the box, more time spent repairing than printing.

  Imagine if someone sold you a house but told you that you need to immediately replace the columns because it has a tendency to collapse. Or if someone sold you a car and told you that you need to immediately replace the engine because it has a tendency to catch fire. It sounds ridiculous, but many people recommend this specific printer along with a list of upgrades that need to be done as soon as possible.

  In practice, I realized that these are not upgrades but repairs, which "might" allow it to work. The "might" because after the commercial success of the first Ender 3 (5 years ago), Creality closed their quality assurance department, resulting in most parts being produced with serious factory defects that eliminate any possibility of smooth operation.

  Specifically, after searching the internet for how to assemble it (no guidance or technical support from Creality), I printed a Benchy (pre-installed test print) and then the filament got stuck at the start of the second pre-installed test print. During the first week, I couldn't manage to do any other prints, and with the support of more experienced people in 3D printing, we discovered the following:

  1. The temperature sensor was not properly attached to the hot end, resulting in the device not being able to detect its temperature and posing a fire hazard. I emphasize that we are talking about a device with many watts and that the fire hazard is the only but very real danger of 3D printers. It is literally the only thing a serious company would protect against.
  2. The bed springs are useless and it's a shame to put them in a commercial product.
  3. The extruder is defective and made of cheap plastic that breaks after a short period of use. I should add that the "upgrade" sold by the same company for its product has a defective spring, so you need to create a Frankenstein with half-and-half parts.
  4. The original bed was badly warped. For 3D printing, it is necessary for the surface to be leveled and perfectly smooth with precision to the second and third decimal place. This came out of the factory with two bumps in the middle.
  5. The original Creality filament had moisture inside the bag.
  6. The tube that feeds the filament was bent and caused clogs.

  Due to persistence and to support my investment, I tried to make it work. When it managed to print something, it was unbelievably slow. In the same prints, it took twice as long or even more compared to other printers in the same price range.

  In short, after about two months, having wasted 4 kilograms of filament, with 3 in the trash can, and dedicating hours each time trying to convince it to do 15-minute prints, I realize that I have spent around €600 more than the price and all I do is not printing. Meanwhile, it has a 3/5 failure rate and constantly loses leveling. I realize that with the money I have invested, I could have bought a much more premium device and not be tortured at all. As a desperate measure, I decide to do what Creality didn't do, disassemble it completely and inspect the construction of its frame. After a few more hours, I notice that both side supports are crooked, either from the factory or during transportation.

  Without being reassembled, without a second thought, it was replaced with a Bambu Lab printer. Its replacement worked much better than this one within 3 minutes of taking it out of the box. A family member has a Prusa printer which also worked out of the box. I am well aware of the logic of "you get what you pay for," but as far as I know, there are certain quality and safety standards that must be met in order for something to be sold in the European Union. For example, a commercial product should do what it claims (e.g. print), otherwise it is a scam. Or it should not pose a fire hazard. Or defective products should be exceptions and not the rule, recognized and replaced (I "received" defective springs, bed, extruder, ptfe tube, a €50 glass bed warped in its box, a bad USB cable in the sonic pad, defective filament, only half of the 24 nozzles worked, etc. Obviously, I am still waiting for a response from Creality regarding any of these issues).

  If someone recommends this printer to you, ask them why it always comes with a list of recommended mandatory upgrades if it can work. Until you can get a very convincing answer, I will simply emphasize that the writings in the following articles are completely true and mandatory reading for anyone who wants to buy a Creality product in 2023:

  Well, let's say a few things.
  Owner of 2 ender 3 printers that I have been using for the past 5 years and the v2 neo in the last few months.

  First of all, the conclusion for those who are too lazy to read. :)
  The v2 neo is a good investment for someone who wants to get into 3D printing but doesn't have much knowledge about printers. I believe this for various reasons in relation to the mechanical aspects (I won't focus on boards, etc.).

  1) Assembly is very easy compared to the old ender 3 models. In this model, assembly is barely 5-6 screws for the frame and the wiring needs to be connected without confusion.

  2) The automatic bed leveling helps a lot so you don't have to adjust the bed every time. (Of course, this also requires a small adjustment at the beginning, but it's unlikely to lose it if you don't touch the bed or frame)

  3) The magnetic bed is useful and easy to remove the printed object. Here I will mention a little caution with high temperatures (260). The old magnetic beds lost a bit of their magnetism when they were at high temperatures for many hours (I mean on a daily basis for a long time, not for 10 prints per month).

  4) The screen is not touch, but it has a good extra feature which is the file preview, so you can see what you are printing. This is quite useful if you have many files that are frequently printed from the SD card. IMPORTANT: To make the preview work, you need to add an add-on in Cura so that the printer reads the file as a preview, otherwise it will show a robot. The process is very simple and can be found on the internet. If you don't know what Cura is, there are videos on the 3D Greek channel and other Greek or foreign channels. :)

  5) Apart from the above, it has several upgrades such as a metal extruder, belt tensioners (I'm still not sure if the bed springs are an upgrade or just regular springs that need to be replaced. However, the latter is a minor issue as the auto bed leveling covers it.

  6) Quieter than the old models, although you will hear a typical white noise like the fans.

  Comparison with other printers from the same company.
  No comparison with the regular ender 3 in terms of ease of use. For me, the regular one is still the top choice.

  Ender 3 Pro Neo. It has a glass bed which is more convenient for some people. Mechanically, it's pretty much the same (without belt tensioners). Different screen, and that's why I went for the v2 neo.

  Ender-3 S1. I got it for a friend and assembled it together. It's a very good printer with a completely different mindset (double z axis, direct extruder, etc.), so it's hard to compare. The reason I didn't get it was purely because the v2 neo has similar parts to the ender 3, of which I have many. While the S1's direct extruder system is very different. So it wouldn't suit me as I prefer to be able to interchange parts between printers if needed during production. If you have the money for the S1, it has several extras that open doors for printing many materials faster and easier in my opinion. In conclusion, from a personal perspective, it is a good purchase for someone who is starting out or for someone who wants to upgrade from a Creality printer like the Ender 3 or Ender 3 Pro. Of course, there are several good brands out there with possibly better features at similar prices. Additionally, Grbotronics offers a discount on filaments if you purchase from them (no one paid me to say this, it has just been useful to me in recent years :P). But for this specific printer, my personal opinion was this :D

  I think Creality is the best model for someone to start with. In the Neo version, they took all the feedback from previous models and made significant improvements.

  It is my first 3D printer, I bought it about 2 months ago and I can say that I am quite satisfied. I still don't know much about this specific topic, but as stated in the description, it is the ender 3 v2 with some upgrades which individually cost a little more than this one (Some of them will prove useful to you, such as the bl touch which is "necessary" for a beginner). I can't give my opinion compared to other 3D printers yet, at least, but for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money, it is perfect.
