While I have been satisfied with this particular fragrance in the past and have even tried the deodorant version, the one I purchased is almost like water. I don't know if it's because of the 200ml packaging, but I wear it and as soon as I leave the house, it doesn't smell like anything. Even though it is theoretically a strong fragrance with long-lasting duration.

Recently, I bought the 200 ml package, and it was a total disappointment.
Projection for about an hour, and lasting no more than 2 hours.It doesn't even smell on the clothes where I sprayed 6-7 sprays.
I don't know what's going on with the 200 ml, but I prefer the 75 ml instead.

It is a unique fragrance that initially feels heavy and the alcohol hits your nose, like most fragrances do.
As time goes by, it changes and you're not sure if you like it or not. At first, I was negative about it, it was too heavy, but after a while, its true scent starts to show and how good it is. It is a serious masculine fragrance, mainly for evenings and winter.
As you wear it, different notes come to you and it is definitely one of the most interesting fragrances I have tried.
However, be careful, the Pure perfume is different from the Eau de toilette. The first one is the good and quite expensive one, while the second one is quite different, both in terms of scent intensity and duration, much inferior.Is it really the right fragrance based on what I tried? Probably yes.

A Timeless Masterpiece by Jean Claude Ellena..

I remember somewhere there, autumn of 2007, I was walking on the street and suddenly I was hit by the smell of orange, vetiver and.. mastic (;;;)..
This mixed scent brought me such euphoria that I rushed with my girlfriend to visit a cosmetics store to get it.. Unfortunately, at that time I didn't know how to describe these notes.. I told the saleswoman that I smelled something like mastic with lemon or orange, she suggested and I smelled perfumes but none of them was the one that had captivated me so much.
Until years later, in the midst of the economic crisis, I smelled it again at work, on a customer.. I gathered the courage and asked him and he told me the two magical words.. Terre d'Hermes..
Since then, I have bought 3 bottles, including the EDP, and always, always that euphoria that I first experienced comes back in the drydown of this masterpiece fragrance.
Finally, recently, I discovered that it wasn't mastic that I was "getting" but Iso E Super that it contains in its composition and that is responsible for its woody finish.
I believe that this fragrance, even in 30 years from now, can be comfortably worn in any season. Just like now.

It has a terrible cap that doesn't stay closed and falls off all the time. I paid 70 euros and only used 5 because the whole bottle got emptied due to a mechanical error.
