The Thermaltake Riing 12 Series is available in six fixed colors. I acquired the blue LED version. I put it to my new midrange gaming PC as exhaust rear case fan. It can be used as radiator fan as well. Inside the box we find the Thermaltake Riing 12 Fan, an LNC (Low-Noise Cable 130mm), a Molex to 2-pin power cable 320mm, four M3 thread screws and four coarse thread screws. The fan's PWM cable is long enough (450mm) and is routed on the right side. Only downside is its 3-pin connector. All included cables feature well-made connectors and braided sleeving with insulation. Thermaltake offers a 3-year warranty for this product. The aesthetically pleasing fan has great quality and features a matte black color housing. Its deep blue LED ring is not bright and you cannot turn-off or change the color. Ring lighting effect is visible from all sides and angles.
I've got to say that both rear and front sides have rubber anti-vibration pads. Thermaltake fan is very quiet and I can only hear it when I put my ear close to the case. I plugged the fan's 3-pin PWM cable (without LNC) into the SYS_FAN1 header (4-pin) of my MSI motherboard (MAG B560 Tomahawk WIFI). You can control the fan speed via MSI BIOS by adjusting its voltage (6.24 - 12V). I measured a max speed of 1655 RPM which is 155 RPM higher than the manufacturer's claimed speed. The fan does not get loud even under its max input power and delivers efficient airflow. I didn't notice improperly functioning.
Check out also my deep review video in which I unbox, test (on camera) and demonstrate how silent the Thermaltake Riing 12 fan is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eLe777bzXQ
It is very beautiful, quiet, and includes the RGB controller. However, after only 2 days of use, when I slightly moved the PC Case (Small Factor PC), the liquid inside the RGB got shaken and scratched in 3 places, so I have to replace it. Therefore, it is sensitive and the computer should not be moved unnecessarily because the RGB is sensitive
So-so because it is small!
